How I Work

I am an essayist, not a journalist. My work focuses on examining patterns, historical context, and the broader implications of current events.

My writing is informed by reporting from established investigative outlets, government documents, human rights organizations, and academic research. I read widely across these sources and cross-reference information whenever possible.

The goal of my essays is not to break news, but to interpret what the available evidence suggests about the direction of our institutions, our democracy, and our society.

How Sources Appear in My Essays

When a specific report, article, or study directly informs a piece of writing, I will reference or link to that reporting within the essay whenever possible. Many essays also draw from patterns across multiple outlets, public records, and historical sources rather than a single article.

My goal is not to replicate reporting done by journalists, but to synthesize information across credible sources and examine what those patterns reveal.

No single source has the whole picture. Understanding the world requires curiosity, humility, and a willingness to keep learning.

This list reflects many of the places I turn to while trying to understand the moment we are living through. It will continue to grow and evolve — just like this space.
